Churchill Fire was dispatched to assist Wilkins Twp Fire for a brush fire on William Penn Highway across from the AutoZone on Saturday, Sept 20 at 1307. Wilkins 302 Engine and 302 Service were first on scene with a brush fire climbing the hill toward the Bricklayers Union building. 302 Engine positioned at the top of the hill and began to attack the fire with CAFS from tank water.
122 Engine arrived and positioned at the bottom of the hill across from Autozone and also began CAFS attack from tank water. 303 Truck arrived on scene and supplied additional water to 122 Engine. The combined attack stopped the spread of the fire, with 122 Engine using approximately 300 gallons of water to make CAFS foam.
