Churchill Rescue was dispatched a multi-vehicle accident with a car on fire on the Parkway East in Edgewood, February 20, 2021 1959. Rescue 122 and 122 Chief responded along with Edgewood 137 Rescue and Swissvale 278 Truck.

137 Rescue was first on scene with a three vehicle accident on the parkway inbound just past the Rt 30 onramp with one car on fire. 137 Rescue stretched an 1-1/2 attack line and knocked down the fire with their available water. 278 Engine positioned on the outbound side of the parkway in the fast lane and stretched a second attack line across the parkway to extinguish the remaining fire.

122 Rescue and Chief responded from the Penn Avenue Churchill ramp through two lanes of stopped traffic and assisted with traffic control and cleanup of the scene after arrival.
