Churchill Rescue was dispatched to the the Business 22 off-ramp from I-376 Eastbound for a fully involve car fire, January 25, 2017 at 0246.

122 Rescue and Chief arrived first on scene and found a sedan fully involved on the shoulder of the roadway.    Fire crews used a 1-1/2″ foam line to attack the fire.  302 Rescue-Engine and 122 Squad crews assisted with overhaul of the vehicle.  Approxima400 gallons of water were used to extinguish the stubborn magnesium fueled fire.

Crews were on scene 1 hour until the vehicle was towed, then remained at station for an additional 45 minutes to clean and repack hose, and refill water tank and airpacks.
