Brentmore Towers Fire Alam

Churchill Fire was dispatched to a reported fire alarm at Brentmore Towers in Penn Center/Wilkins Township Thursday, March 17, 2022 23:58. The alarm was updated to a structure fire response after the dispatch center received reports of smoke on the 7th floor. 302 Chief was first on scene with building evacuation in progress and confirmed the reports of smoke on the 7th floor.

Crews from 302 Engine and 194 Truck went to the 7th and 8ths floors to investigate. 303 Engine and 122 Engine established a water supply to the standpipe system in the rear of the building. Additional responding units were 137 Rescue, 153 Truck, 236 Truck, 278 Truck for the structure alarm.

The issue was determined to be a cooking incident in an apartment on the 7th floor, but there was no fire.

Units left the scene approx 0045.
